Sweet Porridge

A small fable about a magic pot that cooked porridge

There was a poor but good little girl who lived with her mother. They had nothing to eat. One day, the child went into the forest, and there an aged woman met her who was aware of her sorrow. She gifted her with a little pot, which when she said, "cook, little pot, cook", would cook good, sweet porridge, and when she said, "stop, little pot", it ceased to cook.

 The girl took the pot home to her mother, and soon they were freed from their poverty and hunger, and ate sweet porridge as often as they chose. Once on a time when the girl had gone out, her mother said, cook, little pot, cook. And it did cook and she ate till she was satisfied, and then she wanted the pot to stop cooking, but did not know the word. So it went on cooking and the porridge rose over the edge, and still it cooked on until the kitchen and whole house were full, and then the next house, and then the whole street, just as if it wanted to satisfy the hunger of the whole world, and there was the greatest distress, but no one knew how to stop it. At last when only one single house remained, the child came home and just said, stop, little pot, and it stopped and gave up cooking, and whosoever wished to return to the town had to eat his way back!

Matswapati

I should have posted my post about Matswapati since 2 months ago, but it's ok. It's my task for my English class after all, at least my teacher still let me fulfill this task even Matswapati happened 2 months ago.

Matswapati is a tradititional culture festival that is held by my school at 27th September  and it took place at Bali Field near Senior High School 5, Senior High School 3. There, you can visit many booths that contain traditional culture from Jawa Barat. Each of the booths are managed by each class from 1st grade to 3rd grade. There is a big stage too there, many performances from Senior High 3 students and local artists are held there, The stage and the booths area is at Football Field. At the Basketball field, there are many Food stalls, some of them sells local foods like Fried Rice, Bajigur & Bandrek. and some of the stalls sells western food.

1 Day before the event, me and my classmates went to Bali Field to prepare our traditional culture booth. We decorate our booth as attractive as we can so there will be many people come to our booth. At the day of the event, we performed a parade as the opening of the event, also Bandung's mayor Mr. Ridwan Kamil came there to make the official openin for Matswapati

One of the Amazing Places in The World

Hello, everyone. At this 3rd post I want to tell you about one of the amazing places in the world. There are too many places in the world that makes us amazed, because of that I only tell you one of them, The place that I want to tell you about is called Stonhenge.

Stonehenge is a megalithic rock monument of 150 enormous stones set in a purposeful circular pattern, located on the Salisbury Plain of southern England, the main portion of it built about 2000 BC. The outside circle of Stonehenge includes 17 enormous upright trimmed stones of hard sandstone called sarsen; some paired with a lintel over the top. This circle is about 30 meters (100 feet) in diameter, and, stands about 5 meters (16 feet) tall.

Inside the circle are five more paired-and-linteled stones of sarsen, called trilithons, each of these weighing 50-60 tons and the tallest 7 meters (23 feet) high. Inside that, a few smaller stones of bluestone, quarried 200 kilometers away in the Preseli Mountains of western Wales, are set in two horseshoe patterns. Finally, one large block of Welsh sandstone marks the center of the monument.

My New Friend

Hello readers! Welcome to my blog and my second post at this blog :D . During my English lesson I've met a new friend, his name is Muhammad Akbar Ramadhan, and I will tell you some things about him

His nickname is Akbar.
He was born on 7th January 2000, that makes he is younger than me, nevermind that.
He live at Persada Asri 1 Block A number 4, Rancabolang street. He has 2 siblings, 1 older brother and 1 older sister. his sister is 34th and his brother is 23rd
His favourite film's genre is action, he only said that he only likes action ._.
His favourite music's genre is Alternative Rock, it's one of music's genre that I like
He has an inspiring person in his life, that is his father
Aeromodelling is his hobby, i should say that his hobby is unique and not mainstream, I like that. For you who don't know what aeromodelling is, you can go browsing at the internet. And his hobby related to his "job want to be" in the future, he want to be a pilot. I pray that his wish will come true in the future :v . He can't play any musical instrument yet. His favourite Band is Linkin Park

When I met him at English Class, his body resembles me. And I think I can get along with him well. Akbar has a great skill at english so when I talk to him, he speaks well. That's All that I can tell you about my friend, If I already get along really well with him, I will tell you another things about him. See you ;)

Introduction

The first thing you have to do after you make a blog is to introduce yourself,right? So let me introduce myself

My name is Ahmad Dhifan, and Dhifan is my nickname. I study at 3 Senior High School (SMA 3) Bandung
From when I was born I have been called Dhifan by my parents, but people who have just known me usually calls me Ahmad. Maybe Ahmad is more suitable than Dhifan to be a nickname, huh? ._.
Well.. I don't mind about that, I just have to say " Call me Dhifan" to people who call me Ahmad, hahaha...

I was born at 23rd July 1999, Bandung. Luckily, my DoB is one of the National Day for Indonesia, that is "National Children's Day", but that fact doesn't make me proud because I don't know what is special from National Children's Day besides my birthday. One more thing that make me confuse about mu DoB is about my horoscope, some sources says that 23rd July is Cancer and another sources says 23rd is Leo, but that curiosity has left me years ago. If Someone ask me what is my horoscope, i will say one of them (Cancer or Leo) depends on my mood lol.

I have 1 older brother and he is a college student, to have a sibling who has a same gender as you means someday you will have a grudge with your sibling, right? Well, I think that's a normal behavior for siblings to have a grudge. One of the most annoying things of my brother when He was Downloading something and I was playing online games lol I said to myself " why he download something when his brother is playing.." with gloomy face.

I have many hobbies, but hobbies that very resemble me is playing computer games, browsing, watching anime, reading manga, and litsening musics. When I went home from school, I always go to my room and playing games at my computer if I don't have a school assignment for tomorrow, the game that I usually play is "3 Kingdoms Online". It's a MMORPG game that has a main story of China's dynasties. And the second game that I usually play is "osu!". It's a Music Game that has many play mode. I love watching anime and reading manga too. For you who don't know, Anime is a Japanese Animation and Manga is a Japanese Comic. You can say that i'm an otaku. The things that make my love watching Anime and reading manga comes from Anime that aired at the TV when I still at Elementary School, some of them are Naruto and Bleach. It only airs for 1 episode every week, that's what make me impatient to watch the next episodes. So I tried to watch it online and because of that I've known that there are so many Anime besides Naruto and Bleach. That make me curious and I tried to watch another anime and the result is that becomes my hobby :D . I also love to litsening to musics. Every time of I have the chance I always turn on my phone and litsen to musics. Because Anime always adding musics to be the Opening and Ending fo the anime, that makes me having many of Japanese musics, and the worst part is I only know little about Indonesian musics and West musics --* It's not that I don't like them.
